LDS302 Desarrollo de Liderazgo

You were destined for greatness. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have significant power over masses of people or that you’ll have riches untold. The greatness Kent Ingle talks about is more valuable than power, position, or prestige. It’s about living a life of significance and meaning.

You only discover your greatness when you accept the call to adventure. In doing so, new things will happen for you. You’ll need to let go of what may be comfortable in preparation for the journey. You’ll need to consider new options as you explore new territory. You’ll need to take steps forward in faith as you live your divine design. You can decide to become all God created you to be.

LDS303 Principios de Liderazgo

How do we as individuals and organizations survive and thrive amid tremendous change? Why are efforts to improve falling so short in real results despite the millions of dollars in time, capital, and human effort being spent on them? How do we unleash the creativity, talent, and energy within ourselves and others in the midst of pressure? Is it realistic to believe that balance among personal, family, and professional life is possible?
Stephen R. Covey demonstrates that the answer to these and other dilemmas is Principle-Centered Leadership, a long-term, inside-out approach to developing people and organizations. The key to dealing with the challenges that face us today is the recognition of a principle-centered core within both ourselves and our organizations. Dr. Covey offers insights and guidelines that can help you apply these principles both at work and at home — leading to not just a new understanding of how to increase quality and productivity, but also to a new appreciation of the importance of building personal and professional relationships in order to enjoy a more balanced, more rewarding, and more effective life.

LDS307 Liderazgo Intercultural

This course seek to foster the intercultural life that is developing in each church and also in the relationships between different churches and their environments. Authors Juan Martínez and Mark Branson believe that the presence of the kingdom of God on earth, inaugurated in the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, is a presence that should be characterized by a ministry of reconciliation. What does it take to lead multicultural churches? Moses left Egypt with a “mixed crowd,” and the early followers of Jesus had to learn that the Holy Spirit was leading them to cross the boundaries between the different cultures of their time. We live in a world that is culturally diverse, and almost all of our cities and neighborhoods bear witness to that diversity. This is evident in the media, in shopping malls, and in schools; and although slightly less evident in the churches, it is also increasing. That is why they wrote this book: to encourage church leaders to create environments that make reconciliation initiatives evident in the inner life of churches, and in our missionary work within our neighborhoods and cities.
