We invite extension site advisors, teachers, and assistants who feel called to support Spiritual Formation to serve alongside our community. These service-based engagements allow you to share your gifts, experience, and care in support of students’ spiritual growth.
Please note: These are service roles, not employment positions. Participants may receive a donative in recognition of their service; such donatives are not wages and do not establish an employment relationship.

Extension Site Advisor
Overview
The Extension Site Advisor serves as a collaborative spiritual and academic partner at their assigned site. This role works closely with the Department of Spiritual Formation (SFC), site faculty, staff, and students to ensure that the school’s mission and vision are effectively carried out in alignment with the goals of the Florida Multicultural District.
The Advisor helps guide site operations, supports faculty and students, promotes district initiatives, and fosters a spiritually enriching learning environment that encourages growth, accountability, and community.
The Extension Site Advisor is a partner, mentor, and connector helping ensure that the mission of their assigned site flourishes across all extension sites through collaboration, care, and shared spiritual purpose
Requirements
- Must hold current ministerial credentials with the Florida Multicultural District.
- Active member of a church affiliated with the Florida Multicultural District.
- Demonstrates a responsible Christian testimony, integrity, and accountability.
- Submits to and upholds the policies, goals, and Code of Conduct of the SFC and the Florida Multicultural District.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborative Leadership & Site Coordination
- Partner with the Spiritual Formation Center leadership to align site operations with district goals and spiritual objectives.
- Help define and communicate shared goals and priorities for the site.
- Facilitate student orientations and assist with registration, tuition processes, and Canvas access.
- Support the accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks such as payments, reports, and graduation lists.
- Supervise attendance, evaluations, and progression of students and teachers.
- Oversee staff compliance with contracts, W9 forms, and payment submissions.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Spiritual Formation Center to ensure smooth coordination between the main office and the site.
Faculty & Staff Support
- Serve as a resource and point of connection for faculty and administrative staff at the site.
- Ensure teachers receive the necessary materials (syllabi, textbooks, and course expectations) and understand curricular alignment with the Spiritual Formation Center and Assemblies of God doctrine.
- Encourage collaboration, excellence, and mutual support among teachers and staff.
- Provide constructive feedback and relay faculty or student needs to the Spiritual Formation Center for additional guidance or resources.
Student Engagement & Advising
- Build and maintain supportive relationships with students to encourage both spiritual and academic growth.
- Provide academic guidance, helping students understand course requirements, progression, and program expectations.
- Confirm and track completion of applications, pastoral endorsements, and payments, ensuring students remain in good standing.
- Encourage student participation in district activities, mentoring opportunities, and spiritual development events.
- Maintain accurate and current records of student enrollment, performance, and engagement in collaboration with administrative staff.
Academic & Administrative Collaboration
- Assist in monitoring student progress and course evaluations, offering feedback and updates to the Spiritual Formation Center as needed.
- Collaborate with the Spiritual Formation Center and site staff to uphold academic integrity and alignment with established curriculum standards.
- Promote an environment of continual improvement through communication, feedback, and shared learning.
District Involvement & Representation
- Participate in Extension Site Advisor meetings, training sessions, and graduation ceremonies.
- Support and promote Spiritual Formation Center events, ensuring representation and engagement from your site.
- Assist in compiling and submitting site materials such as photos, honors, and graduation details.
- Represent the Spiritual Formation Center and the Florida Multicultural District with professionalism, care, and a spirit of service.
Canvas Access & Responsibilities
- Maintain admin-level access for visibility across all courses, teachers, and student progress within your site.
- Review analytics and reports to help identify trends and opportunities for support.
- Post announcements and communicate relevant updates to students and staff.
- May assist with managing course content (as directed by the Spiritual Formation Center) but does not develop or alter official curriculum.
Teacher
Overview
Teachers are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in alignment with the curriculum and spiritual values of the Spiritual Formation Center. They guide students in their academic and spiritual development, ensuring that teaching remains consistent with the goals of the Spiritual Formation Center (SPF) and the Assemblies of God’s doctrinal foundations.
Requirements
- Must hold current ministerial credentials with the Florida Multicultural District or be recommended by the Spiritual Formation Center and presbytery if not credentialed.
- Active member of a church affiliated with the Florida Multicultural District.
- Demonstrates a responsible Christian testimony, integrity, and accountability.
- Submits to and upholds the policies, goals, and Code of Conduct of the DFE and the Florida Multicultural District.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Preparation
- Develop and deliver instruction in alignment with the ministry curriculum and assigned syllabus.
- Prepare lessons, exams, and written assignments directly related to the course textbook.
- Ensure full completion of the 15 required instructional hours per course.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of in-person classes, or open virtual classrooms at least 30 minutes prior.
Student Engagement & Mentorship
- Facilitate meaningful classroom discussions, both in person and online.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and academic support to students.
- Assess student work, provide timely feedback, and record grades accurately.
- Communicate expectations clearly, ensuring students are prepared and supported throughout the course.
Professional & Spiritual Standards
- Attend a pre-course meeting with the Extension Site Advisor for interview and assignment of responsibilities.
- Work in harmony with the SFC, the Extension Site Advisor to define and document goals.
- Avoid doctrinal conflicts; instruction must remain aligned with the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God.
- Report any classroom conflicts, complaints, or sensitive issues to the Extension Site Advisor.
- Make up any missed classes within the same week if disruptions occur (e.g., emergencies, weather events).
- Participate actively in graduation ceremonies, celebrating student achievements.
- Maintain updated personal information with the SFC.
Canvas Role & Access
- Teacher-Level Access within assigned courses only.
- Full editing rights: upload content, assignments, quizzes, and modules.
- Grade student submissions, track progress, and maintain gradebooks.
- Communicate with students directly via Canvas messaging.
- Cannot access or edit courses outside assigned teaching responsibilities.
Extension Site Administrative Assistant
Reports to Extension Site Administrator and the Dean
Overview
The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and organizational support to the Extension Site Advisor, faculty, and students in the daily operations of the School of Ministry. This role helps ensure clear communication, accurate record-keeping, and smooth coordination of student services while upholding the mission, policies, and goals of the Spiritual Formation Center (SFC) and the Florida Multicultural District. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and spiritually supportive learning environment.
The Administrative Assistant works as a trusted partner to the Extension Site Advisor and SFC team, ensuring that the School of Ministry operates smoothly and that students, staff, and faculty experience excellence, clarity, and care in every interaction.
Note: This position is designated for sites with 175 or more actively enrolled students. Sites below this enrollment threshold will have these responsibilities fulfilled by the Extension Site Advisor.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Site Support
- Partner with the Extension Site Advisor to plan and coordinate student orientations and site activities.
- Assist with student enrollment, tuition payment tracking, and record management.
- Maintain organized schedules, correspondence, and communication with students and staff.
- Prepare and submit course-related forms and reports as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy of student and staff information, including legal names and current contact details.
- Support the day-to-day administrative flow of the site, promoting efficiency and professionalism.
Student & Staff Coordination
- Help communicate important dates, deadlines, and updates to students and teachers throughout each course term.
- Participate in regular site meetings and maintain open communication with the Extension Site Advisor, DFE staff, and faculty.
- Assist in coordinating class materials, attendance records, and student progress updates.
- Promptly relay student or staff concerns, sensitive issues, or administrative needs to the Extension Site Advisor.
Compliance & Communication
- Use the official SFC-assigned site email account for all school-related correspondence.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle all information with professionalism and care.
- Uphold Spiritual Formation Center policies, reporting requirements, and communication standards.
- Serve as a positive representative of the Spiritual Formation Center in all interactions with students, staff, and community partners.
Academic & Student Support
- Assist the Extension Site Advisor in maintaining accurate student evaluations and records.
- Provide students with basic guidance regarding course schedules, requirements, and academic progress.
- Collaborate with SFC personnel to ensure site activities align with institutional goals and standards.
- Encourage student engagement and spiritual growth through effective communication and support.
Canvas Role & Access
- No Canvas Access: The Administrative Assistant’s duties are strictly administrative and support-focused. This role does not involve course management, grading, or editing academic content.
